If you are not satisfied with the services provided by The Clean Commitment please call or email within 24 hours and provide detailed description of any issues. Photos are appreciated and may be required in certain situations. We will have a cleaner return to resolve any issues as soon as possible, free of charge. Any damage, claims or losses must also be reported within 24 hours of the service appointment to be processed.
We understand life happens and sometimes plans change, which is why we offer free cancellations and rescheduled (subject to appointment availability). To ensure you are not charged, all cleaning services require 24 hours notice for cancellation or a cancellation fee will apply. Clients signed up for ongoing cleaning services may skip a total of six cleanings per calendar year without penalty. To cancel ongoing cleaning services, one months notice must be provided.
Free parking must be available upon arrival and for entire duration of the services. Parking location must be on the clients property or directly adjacent. Cleaners must be granted access to the property at the scheduled time of cleaning. If cleaners are not able access the interior of the property they will wait 15 minutes before leaving. In this situation, payments for the services will still be applied and services can be rescheduled at regular price based on availability.
Cleaners will conduct themselves in a polite and professional manner. Cleaners will not eat or answer the phone or doorbell while working. Cleaners will never smoke on your property. Breaks for cleaners will only be available for jobs lasting over four hours. Cleaners will be treated with respect by anyone in the environment they are providing services in. Any abuse towards cleaners or any other agents, contractors or employees of The Clean Commitment will result in immediate suspension or termination of services by The Clean Commitment. Abuse includes aggressive, inappropriate or abusive oral or written communications. Other examples of inappropriate behaviours include but are not limited to: behaviour that makes any associates of The Clean Commitment uncomfortable or attempting to make inappropriate physical contact. No reimbursements will be made if cleaners leave before completing services due to any inappropriate behaviours exhibited in the cleaning environment.
Clients must select a cleaning package before an appointment can be scheduled. The first visit is a full reset to get the space ready for ongoing maintenance cleans. There may be extra dusting and scrubbing required, therefore the first cleaning is typically longer than ongoing cleaning visits. Each property is unique and your cleaning time will be estimated based the individual space. Estimated cleaning times are not negotiable. Cleaning times reflect the amount of time it will take the cleaners to complete the checklist for the selected cleaning package. The actual cleaning time may be lower than the estimated cleaning time but requests to finish before the estimated time will not be honoured. We take pride in ensuring we complete each job fully and to the highest standards. Occasionally the actual cleaning time may be more than the estimated cleaning time, in which case you will be notified and will have to option to add additional time to complete the checklist or have the cleaners finish when they reach the end of the estimated time. If you choose not to add additional time we cannot offer our guarantee for that cleaning appointment.
If you choose to add services to your cleaning appointment we are happy to do so and do not charge fees for add ons. Adding services may add extra time to your cleaning visit on top of your estimated time. You will only be charged for the extra time it will take to complete the additional services. Occasionally we offer promotions for add on services in which case you will be charged the price of the add on services and not for the cleaning time.
All cleaning packages except for the Express Cleaning Package have a minimum of 3 hours.
Invoices can be paid via e-transfer to info@thecleancommitment.com, by requesting a secure payment link for credit card payment or by arrangements agreed upon by both parties. Invoices must be paid in full within 5 business days or a late payment fee of $5 a day will be applied. Accounts will be suspended after 30 days past due.
